Before you even begin, we can stop by your current residence and inform next steps. In a glance we can understand any big or fragile pieces—from flat screens to glass tables to art—that will require careful wrapping. That’s our job. For you, we can frequently deliver gently used boxes and fresh supplies for packing, or simply advise on what you’ll need. From the book boxes to oblige your library to the wardrobe boxes to accommodate your closet, we can give you great packing tips. Inside and outside the box.
THE BASIS OF ESTIMATIONS.
Let’s go through a few things that inform our estimates. Most likely, it’s things you can think of, but also a couple things you might not.
Distance. If you’re moving within the five boroughs, that’s pretty easy. If you’re moving to the suburbs or way out of state, that ups the price a bit to account for increased time and resources.
Stairs. It seems like a little thing, but if we’re going up and down, and up and down, that’s a lot more labor, and we charge a little more.
Assembly. Sometimes it’s a matter of taking things apart and putting them back together. Other times it’s about unboxing and assembling everything you bought inside a new nursery. We love this work, but it does take time and tools.
Stuff. If appliances are in the mix, for example, that takes more muscle and time. If it’s furniture and boxes of ordinary possessions, we can assure you our rates will be reasonable and competitive.

While you’re packing, we’re a call or text away with answers. You might wonder what to do with your plants or how to protect your art, and we’ll promptly provide answers to ease your mind. Then we’ll arrive on time, with a plan in a place, to take you ably from A to B. Partners in time.
